Paul was the first of the Turks & Caicos Rally Team to compete in Barbados, in 2010 with a Honda Civic, and subsequently a Ford Escort MkII, Citroen DS 3 RS (two, after the first was destroyed in an accident) and now this Citroen R5, replacing his Fiesta. Before then, he was successful in the Targa Newfoundland in North America, where he won his class in the Civic in 2008, then moved up the order, finishing fifth overall – and again a class-winner – in the Escort in 2009. A regular competitor year-round in the Barbados Rally Club Championship and other events in the island in recent years, he was BRC Modified 2 Class Champion in 2017, the same year he won the class in Sol RB17. Since moving to the R5 class in 2020, he has been undergoing driver training from three-time British Rally Champion Matt Edwards, who has also joined him in Barbados as co-driver.
