Brian twice won his class in the International All-Stage Rally in the 1990s in a Toyota Starlet, before winning the Barbados Rally Club Group N Championship in 2000 & ’01 in a Subaru Impreza with co-driver Ryan Wood. After he failed to finish the island’s premier event in 2002, he retired from motor sport to concentrate on business commitments. He eased himself back into competition in 2010, driving a BMW M3 which his brother Raymond had driven as Zero Car in Sol RB08, then finished 25th overall (fourth in SM11) in 2009. Brian then finished second in class, twice just outside the overall top 10, for three years out of four between 2010 and ’13 (with nine of 21 class stage wins in Sol RB13), before a further dnf in Sol RB14. Since then, he has again been dormant, an ongoing rebuild of the M3 stalled on more than one occasion.
